Drink Outrage. See Nazi and Racists Everywhere.
Dana Loesch: Real vs. manufactured outrage
It isn’t difficult to get ordinary citizens to show up at Congressional town meetings to express their legitimate concerns regarding the potentially devastating cost of ObamaCare and the potential loss of consumer choice in the health care system. They are real and they are angry.
Speaker Pelosi then went so far as to claim that some protestors at town meetings were carrying signs bearing Nazi swastikas. This kind of hate-based attack with no basis in fact is beneath a Speaker of the US House of Representatives.
Uh oh, she just drank Outrage, Nazi flavor.
NewsBuster.com: Cynthia Tucker: 45-65% Of Townhall Protesters Are Racists
Are you opposed to ObamaCare? Willing to attend a town hall to express your disapproval? Odds are good you’re a racist. Just ask Cynthia Tucker . . .
As Clay Waters has noted, Paul Krugman alleges that racist motives are at the heart of the town hall protests against ObamaCare. On this evening’s Hardball, Cynthia Tucker of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution was willing to get specific, estimating that “45 to 65%” of the protesters are motivated by racism.
And she just drank Outrage, Racist flavor
NewsBuster.com: Obama Joker Poster Stirs Outrage, Bush Joker Poster Not So Much
According to a television station where the posters have been spotted, “Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President Earl Ofari Hutchinson is calling the depiction, politically mean spirited and dangerous.”
Yet, when Vanity Fair’s Politics & Power blog published a somewhat similar visual representation of George W. Bush last July, nobody seemed to complain. In fact, throughout the Bush years, demeaning drawings of the President and Vice President Dick Cheney were quite commonplace.
Double Standard Manufactured Outrage.
Michelle Malkin: Tea Party-bashers gone wild
The same Democrat Masters of Astroturf who encouraged their followers to use “in your face” tactics during the campaign season now balk at vocal opposition from their fiscally conservative neighbors and co-workers. Obama’s architects of Kabuki town halls have packed public forums with partisan plants. Now, they accuse opponents gathering at impromptu rallies against the massive health care takeover legislation (which no one has read) of orchestrating “manufactured anger.”
Unaccustomed to pushback, the wealthy, astro-turfed ground troops for Obamacare – underwritten by unions, liberal philanthropists, the AARP, ACORN, and your tax dollars — have resorted to projection. As I’ve reported previously, the single-payer lobby boasts a $40 million budget and a stable of seasoned political operatives based at 1825 K Street in Washington, D.C. Now, that cabal is accusing the broad coalition of taxpayer activists, libertarians, independents, talk radio loyalists, bloggers, and first-time protesters against socialized medicine of being, yes, wealthy and astroturfed.
Obama: If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun [Is that why Dems oppose the idea of Americans buying guns? So that Americans bring knives while Dems get all the guns to fights?]
Obama to Dems: Punch back twice as hard.
